Hello Members of Alberta Bobsleigh,

Klaus Zahnd is our designated Casio Coordinator, and is in the process of preparing our Casino application for our next fundraising casino as per the below details:

ABA Casino scheduled to be held at the
Ace Casino, Airport on April 1 and 2, 2026.

We need volunteers for the below dates and times. We ask that all members volunteer for a shift over the two days. For our active Alberta athletes, both at the Provincial and National Team level we ask that you do one shift and recruit someone to also work a shift. If you are unable to do a shift we need you to find someone to cover for you. As per usual, snacks, drinks, and a meal are provided during your shift(s). Much of our funding comes from these casino events and without them we will be unable to provide the programming and training opportunities we currently do. Please sign up for the below dates with Klaus:

Wednesday, April 1, 2026
– Dayshift 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
– Night Shift 6:45 pm to 3:30 am
– Count room 11:30 pm to 3:30 am

Thursday, April 2, 2026
– Dayshift 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
– Night Shift 6:45 pm to 3:30 am
– Count room 11:30 pm to 3:30 am

Please send me your preference of day and time at the earliest. As a follow-up, I will send you the Casino Volunteer form to complete and return to me.

Volunteering at our Casino is a membership expectation.
Our athletes rely on the funding generated from a successful Casino.
